Arterial silences, filled with
Muted staccato thumpings,
The cheap whispers of
Lovers, climbing like thieves,
Up the ropes of passion.
Perched, in quiet consideration,
Sits the corvus of conscience.
Beak shut, eye glittering as he
Watches with an inscrutable grin
The fumblings of liars in love.
Feathers tarred, teeth broken from
The cheap stones of whiskey and pills,
He sits. Not preening, not caring, only
Looking into the spines of those below.
His cracked and weathered talons shift.
He is silent, knowing his call will be lost to the wind.

Mogul
And at day's end,
Smoke drifting
From shattered
Chimney tops
Stained with the
Soot of Industrial
Lust
I sit.
Gathering thoughts
Like ghosts.
The diesel thrash
Of flailing limbs,
The scream of
Failed bearings
In the throats of
Those below...
A muffled murmuring,
And nothing more.
The only scent,
Is the mingling of
Submmission and
Desire.
I lean back and
Smile.

Chimney tops
Stained with the
Soot of Industrial
Lust
I sit.
Gathering thoughts
Like ghosts.

The scream of
Failed bearings

Ruin
The seductive slosh and gurgle of the bottles handled is as exciting to
me as the feel of lush, warm flesh beneath my palms.
I sweat, nervous and shaking to think of the burning fire in my throat.
The warmth in my belly.
The need in my mouth.
I stare, dreaming of languid freedom.
And I
Turn away.
me as the feel of lush, warm flesh beneath my palms.
I sweat, nervous and shaking to think of the burning fire in my throat.
The warmth in my belly.
The need in my mouth.
I stare, dreaming of languid freedom.
And I
Turn away.

Brickwork patterns
Carrying the weight
Of generations
Buckling not
Transferring the strain
To the souls above
Ripping like silk
The fabric of
My ancient, wicked
Heart
Tearing out
The Law
With the teeth
of Desire
Carrying the weight
Of generations
Buckling not
Transferring the strain
To the souls above
Ripping like silk
The fabric of
My ancient, wicked
Heart
Tearing out
The Law
With the teeth

Digital Solipsist
There is a dance I do
In my head
Late at night
Warehouse window light
Flickering on black
Velvet skin
Fire crackling
Music oozing
Down my spine
And you
Are not
Invited

Brave New World
In spite of our best efforts, Atlas still shoulders his burden of sin.
Livers are torn and bleeding on endless, storm-wracked beaches.
And...
The stone continues to shift and slip from the grasp of weary Sisyphus.
Are there angels to counter the demons of our better natures?
Or is the better nature the cruel lie we have wrapped around ourselves...
A civilized shroud to cover our animal shame.
For all his uncomplaining silence, don't be surprised if...
Or rather...when
Atlas shrugs.
Re(a)pose
Listen to the
Static
Of my thudding
Heartbeat
Extacy has
Spent all
The loose change of
Passion
Kundalini
The snake...
Satisfied at
Long last
