Digital Solipsist

Digital Solipsist

There is a dance I do
In my head
Late at night

Warehouse window light
Flickering on black
Velvet skin

Fire crackling
Music oozing
Down my spine

And you

Are not
Invited

Brave New World

Brave New World
Originally uploaded by Archer Braun.
In spite of our best efforts, Atlas still shoulders his burden of sin.
Livers are torn and bleeding on endless, storm-wracked beaches.
And...
The stone continues to shift and slip from the grasp of weary Sisyphus.

Are there angels to counter the demons of our better natures?
Or is the better nature the cruel lie we have wrapped around ourselves...
A civilized shroud to cover our animal shame.

For all his uncomplaining silence, don't be surprised if...
Or rather...when
Atlas shrugs.

Of my thudding
Heartbeat

Extacy has
Spent all
The loose change of
Passion

Kundalini
The snake...
Satisfied at
Long last

Apologia

Apologia
Originally uploaded by Archer Braun.
It is a rough love
Which drives blood
Hot with passion

Forces the sigh
Torn, shuddering
From the chest

Surrenders the will
Into the sharp
Metal mercy of
Your mouth.

I Dream of Wires

I Dream of Wires
Originally uploaded by Archer Braun.
Are you a child,
Of the
Short
Spark?

When unbuttoned by
The wind, which
Way is
Yours?

My jaws are
Creaking with
News,
But the
Eater of Atlases
Is
Sleeping.

Prowl

Prowl

Allow me...
To unzip your heart.

Muzzle to throat,
Blood whispering urgently.

Caution, a memory.
Need, a naked flame.

Desire, an All-Consuming

Hunger.

Perspectives of Sin

Peel back the rusty skin of
Night, and its blood will
Pour forth like
Whiskey from a
Broken, black bottle.

Ethyl, sweet esther.
An aromatic hydrocarbon
Lullabye.

Just close your eyes, baby.

You won't feel a thing...
